Write for Us
Write for Bride & Groom!
We welcome written contributions from industry professionals! By writing for us, you can inspire a global audience, achieve your professional dreams, and submit at your own pace on your own schedule. We strongly encourage all interested professionals to check out our Blog, where industry contributions are published, to get a feel for the types of articles and accompanying photographs we accept.
Our authors get the advantage of reaching our broad user base. Specifically, each submission is tied to the author and encourages user engagement with the author’s web platforms. To further this goal, all submissions must include, and all published articles showcase, the author’s headshot, bio, and links to the author’s website and social profiles.
Basic Submission Guidelines:
Proposals, engagement parties, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, wedding showers, bridesmaid brunches, rehearsals, weddings, destination weddings, honeymoons, and vow renewals are acceptable topics.
Show tips and tricks on how to organize, plan, and/or throw the celebration of a lifetime!
Provide targeted industry-based advice, ideas, or tips related to throwing a wedding party.
Answer a commonly asked wedding question with your unique industry-based knowledge.
For a DIY approach, provide specific instructions on step-by-step completion of the project and a small paragraph explaining the project’s party-related purpose or utility.
Share memories and images from your own wedding party along with a relevant industry-specific story.
Keep in Mind:
The tone of your article should be accessible, fun, inspiring, informative, educational, and ultimately, positive.
Our readers are party planners and party goers– don’t be a sarcastic, snarky, or a negative party pooper!
Could you please …
Use a catchy title that grabs readers’ attention + makes them want to read your piece from beginning to end: Ask, what specific problem does my article solve? How will reading this piece improve or further the party?
Write a concise opening. The first sentence should have the reader ready to don his party pants. The first paragraph should give a succinct and clear explanation of what the article is about.
Provide easily implementable tips, such as– book a photographer, bring your polaroid camera, or take iphone photos for the bride to keep as a party momento, as opposed to–document the party.
Write in your own voice, in a conversational tone, as if you’re speaking to your BFF.
Submit SEO-driven submissions, created only to boost SEO or to plug a product or brand name.
Submit articles or bio references that promote industries beyond our permissible topics (above), as they will not be accepted.
Include hyperlinks in your articles. All pertinent links should be placed in brackets: [https://www.instagram.com/brideandgroom_com/]
